Abstract: Chemical evaluation of 26 rainwater samples collected during 2009 rainy season exhibit an average pH of 6.37, the main ions were CO3-2, Cl-, HCO3-, SO4-2, NO3-1, PO4-3, Na+, Mg+2, Ca+2, Co+2, Cu+2, Ni+2, Fe+2, a marine or soil suspended particles dissolution origin was established from a correlation analysis, main acidity contributor is SO4-2.
