dc.description.abstractLe nuove musiche (1602) del compositor italiano Giulio Caccini (1551-1618) es un importante tratado que brinda vasta información sobre como ejecutar la música vocal que floreció en la primera década del siglo XVII en Florencia y que marcaría un hito en el desarrollo de la música europea en siglos posteriores. El presente trabajo da a conocer diversas problemáticas surgidas durante el proceso de traducción del texto de Caccini para obtener una traducción al castellano que transmita de la manera más fiel posible la información que desea compartir el autor a través de un texto viable para la lectura y comprensión del lector en nuestros díases_MX
