dc.description.abstractLa producción de granos y semillas implica un excesivo consumo de agua. Organismos internacionales sugieren el cambio de cultivos para resarcir dicha situación, como lo es la producción de hortalizas. Productores del sur del estado de Guanajuato están consientes de ello. En la actualidad no hay organismos públicos o privados que promuevan la producción, transformación y comercialización de orgánicos. Se investigaron métodos para procesar y comercializar hortalizas cultivadas en huertos familiares aproximadamente orgánicos. Las hortalizas se cultivaron en un espacio demostrativo. Se emplearon métodos de secado solar, conservas en salmuera y por baja temperatura. Se investigó métodos de comercialización de orgánicos. Se impartieron talleres a productores. Los productores entendieron las técnicas y formas de comercialización. Algunos productores mostraron interés por iniciar sus huertos familiares.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThe production of grains and seeds involves an excessive consumption of water. International agencies for development suggest the change of crops to compensate this situation, as it is the production of vegetables. Producers in the South of the State of Guanajuato are aware of this. At present there are no public or private bodies that promote the production, processing and marketing of organic. Is investigating methods to process and market vegetables cultivated in family gardens approximately organic. The vegetables were cultivated in a demonstration space. It was employed methods of sun drying, canned in brine and by low temperature. Marketing of organic methods was investigated. Workshops were provided to producers. Producers understand the techniques and forms of marketing. Some producers showed interest in starting their family gardens.-
