Abstract: Context of Latin American migration to the UK: * 250,000 people of Latin American origin living in the UK of whom 145,000 live in London (McI/waine 2015: 2016: Roman and Bertis, 2021). *Brazil (37 %), Colombia (3 %), Ecuador (8.6 %), Peru (4 %), Venezuela (4.6 %), Bolivia (3.2 %), Mexico (4.5 %) and Chile (3.5 %), etc. (Mcllwaine and Bunge, 2016; Roman and Bertis, 2021). * Latin American community- Recognition as an ethnic group (Coalition of Latin Americans in the UK, 2015; 2020).
