dc.description.abstractLa aparición de los métodos anticonceptivos se remonta a finales del siglo XIX y siglo XX, con el desarrollo de la medicina, especialmente en el campo de la endocrinología y la ginecología. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la incidencia de la depresión en mujeres fértiles que son tratadas con métodos hormonales. Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, de corte transversal. El tamaño de muestra fue a conveniencia, estuvo conformada por mujeres jóvenes de 18-29 años que usaban algún tipo de método anticonceptivo hormonal. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos se demostró que el 65.3% de mujeres que afirmaron que su salud mental no ha sido inestable por el uso anticonceptivos hormonales. Se puede sugerir que los métodos anticonceptivos hormonales no afectan el estado emocional en las mujeres.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThe appearance of contraceptive methods dates back to the late 19th and 20th centuries, with the development of medicine, especially in the field of endocrinology and gynecology. The objective of the research is to determine the incidence of depression in fertile women who are treated with hormonal methods. It is a quantitative, cross-sectional study that will be carried out in forms. The convenience sample size included young women aged 18-29 years who use or have used some type of hormonal contraceptive method. According to the results obtained, there is a percentage of 65.3% of women who affirm that their mental health has not been unstable due to the use of hormonal contraceptives. It is concluded that hormonal contraceptive methods do not affect the emotional state of the women surveyed, even though they are aware that hormones do affect the mental health of some women.en
