dc.description.abstractComanjilla es una localidad perteneciente al municipio de Silao, Gto., la cual tiene dentro de sus limitacionesla presencia de aguas azufro termales y géiseres que tienen su origen por una falla geológica que atraviesa las inmediaciones de la Sierra de Guanajuato. El agua al momento de escurrir por las paredes de dicha falla alcanza a tener profundidades que hacen posible un aumento de temperatura, alcanzando niveles adecuados para el crecimiento de diferentes microorganismos extremófilos. En esta investigación se realizó el análisis microscópico de muestras de tapete microbiano y de agua de las zonas termales de Comanjilla, Gto., para identificar los microorganismos presentes, particularmente diatomeas.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishComanjilla is a town belonging to the municipality of Silao, Gto., which has within its limitations the presence of sulfur-thermal waters and geysers that have their origin by a geological fault that crosses the vicinity of the Sierra de Guanajuato. When the water runs down the walls of this fault, it reaches depths that make possible an increase in temperature, reaching levels suitable for the growth of different extremophilic microorganisms. In this research, microscopic analysis of microbial mat and water samples from the thermal zones of Comanjilla, Gto. was carried out to identify the microorganisms present, particularly diatoms.en
