dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo muestra algunos aspectos históricos del descubrimiento del cobalto y como se han incrementado sus aplicaciones. Desde hace más de 2500 años se empleaba en los pigmentos para vidrios y cerámicas, posteriormente, en las super aleaciones, en los imanes permanentes, los catalizadores, y la medicina nuclear. El cobalto, está presente en las baterías de teléfonos móviles, vehículos eléctricos, y en la vitamina B12, de manera que se ha convertido en uno de los metales más importantes de este siglo.es_MX
