dc.description.abstractEl Estado de Guanajuato y la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara(ZMG),durante las últimas décadas, han sufrido un cambio significativo en su estructura industrial ,esto apostado por las nuevas políticas industriales, impulsadas por los gobiernos de dichas regiones, buscado que dicha estructura se modernice adaptándose al desarrollo tecnológico e industrial que predomina en la actualidad. Con el fin de alcanzar tales objetivos estas regiones han dirigido sus políticas principalmente a la atracción de Inversión Extranjera Directa(IED), la cual se espera que incremente el desarrollo económico y social de tales regiones, sin embargo, la teoría nos dice que al largo plazo el alto índice de IED sólo llevaría a que las empresas nacionales se retiraran del mercado provocado un retroceso en el desarrollo social y económico antes mencionadoes_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThe State of Guanajuato and the metropolitan area of Guadalajara (MAG), during the last decades, have undergone a significant change in its industrial structure, it opted for new industrial policies driven by the Governments of these regions, for this structure to modernize adapting to the technological and industrial development that prevails today. To achieve such objectives these regions have predominantly targeted their policies to the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI), which is expected to increase the economic and social development of these regions, however, the theory tells us that in the long term the high rate of FDI would only domestic firms to withdraw caused market a setback in the social and economic development-
