dc.description.abstractLo insectos del suelo desempeñan una función fundamental dentro de los agroecosistemas como el reciclaje de nutrientes, incrementan la porosidad del suelo, entre otras. Sin embargo, la información es insuficiente sobre la diversidad de insectos en sistemas productivos de huertos frutícolas de nogal pecanero. El objetivo fue evaluar la abundancia y diversidad de insectos en dos sistemas de producción de nogal pecanero (tecnificado - no tecnificado) cercanos a una matriz de vegetación natural. Se colocaron 40 trampas pitfall por sitio, durante dos temporadas. Los ejemplares recolectados fueron identificados en laboratorio hasta nivel de familia. Fueron realizados análisis de diversidad. Oniscidae fue la más abundante en Otoño-iniverno en los tres sitios y la diversidad fue menor a lo observado en primavera-verano. El sitio de vegetación natural mostró los valores más altos de diversidad. La abundancia y diversidad de insectos responden a las condiciones ambientales y de manejo de las huertas.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishInsects of the soil have an important role in the agroecosystems such as nutrient recycling, increasing the porosity soil and permeability improving, among others. However, there is not enough information on insect diversity in pecan tree fruit orchards. The aim was to assess the abundance and diversity of insects in two systems of pecan production near to a zone of a natural vegetation. 40 pitfall traps were set per site during two seasons. Specimens collected were identified at family level. Diversity analyzes were performed. Oniscidae was the most abundant in the three sites on autumn-winter and diversity was lower than spring-summer. The natural vegetation site showed the highest diversity values. The insects abundance and diversity are sensitive to environmental and management conditions in the fruit orchards.-
