| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación compara la madura filosofía de la ciencia de Thomas Kuhn y la reflexión trascendental de Immanuel Kant respecto al conocimiento. Mediante este ejercicio, pretendemos elucidar algunos aspectos del modelo de desarrollo científico que Kuhn presenta en sus últimos escritos. En tales publicaciones, el desarrollo de la empresa científica se entiende en relación con la base conceptual y lingüística que la hace posible, posición que recuerda a la meta del proyecto crítico kantiano. Kuhn reconocía el paralelismo e incluso llegó a caracterizar su posición filosófica como un cierto tipo de “kantismo”. Nuestra comparación somete a prueba la plausibilidad de tal analogía, y busca además rescatar algunas de las consideraciones kantianas acerca del conocimiento y la naturaleza sistemática de la ciencia, aún relevantes para la reflexión filosófica sobre la empresa científica. | es_MX |

| dc.description.abstractEnglish | This paper develops a comparative analysis between Thomas S. Kuhn’s mature philosophy of science and Immanuel Kant’s transcendental reflection on knowledge and its limits. By doing so, we expect to elucidate some aspects of the late model of scientific development that Kuhn presented in his later writings. In such publications, the scientific enterprise is understood in terms of the conceptual and linguistic aspects that make it possible. This position reminds us of the Kantian goal on his critical project, a parallelism that Kuhn himself remarked openly, characterizing his late philosophical position as a sort of “Kantianism”. Our comparison tests the plausibility of such an analogy, and tries to recover some Kantian reflections about knowledge and the systemic nature of science, still relevant in the context of contemporary philosophy of science. | - |
