dc.description.abstractEste artículo aborda la reconstrucción de la Historia de la Tecnología de la extracción y el beneficio de los minerales durante los siglos XVIII, XIX y XX, con el objetivo de contar con la información necesaria para actualizar los contenidos del Museo De Sitio Mina Valenciana. Además para poder observar los cambios suscitados con los avances tecnológicos, lo cual nos lleva a observar algunos de los oficios que han desaparecido con la nueva maquinaria e industria minera. Para la realización de dicha investigación recurrimos a la metodología de la Historia oral con el fin de rescatar la memoria de los sujetos como memoria histórica.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThis article covers the reconstruction of the history of the technology of the extraction and benefit of minerals during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Its objective is to present information which is necessary in order to update the contents of the Mining Museum in Valenciana. Furthermore, it aims to observe the changes which have arisen as a result of technological advances, which leads us to observe some of the labor positions that have disappeared as a result of new machinery and advances in the mining industry.
