dc.description.abstractEl debate sobre la regulación de las tecnologías de la información en el ámbito del derecho internacional ha sido objeto de un análisis profundo, dada la rapidez con la que avanzan las tecnologías y la capacidad limitada de las normativas legales para adaptarse a estos cambios. Este artículo examina las tensiones que surgen entre la evolución tecnológica y las estructuras regulatorias existentes, enfocándose en la regulación del comercio electrónico en el contexto del Derecho Internacional Económico. Se destaca la participación cada vez más activa de la Organización Mundial del Comercio en la creación de nuevas reglas que aborden las tendencias actuales en el comercio electrónico, con especial énfasis en Iniciativa relativa a la Declaración Conjunta sobre el Comercio Electrónico, lanzada el 26 de julio de 2024, destacando sus características distintivas.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThe debate on the regulation of information technologies within the realm of international law has been the subject of in-depth analysis, given the rapid pace of technological advancement and the limited capacity of legal frameworks to adapt to these changes. This article examines the tensions that arise between technological evolution and existing regulatory structures, focusing on the regulation of e-commerce within the context of International Economic Law. It highlights the increasingly active role of the World Trade Organization in developing new rules to address current trends in e- commerce, with particular emphasis on the Joint Initiative on E-Commerce, launched on July 26, 2024, underscoring its distinctive features.en
