dc.description.abstractEste trabajo analiza la diversidad de especies de la Familia Cactaceae para el Estado de Guanajuato, su riqueza específica, nivel de endemismo y grado de amenaza, factores importantes para el conocimiento, manejo y conservación de estas plantas. Con poco más de 20 géneros y 108 especies, Guanajuato es considerado como un centro de diversidad de cactáceas, además de contar con tres especies micro-endémicas, importantes para su protección. El conocimiento de las especies de esta familia de plantas y el creciente interés por su investigación permitirá diseñar estrategias para el estudio, manejo y conservación de la flora cactológica del Estado.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishThis work analyzes the diversity of species of the Cactaceae Family for the State of Guanajuato, its specific richness, level of endemism and degree of threat, important factors for the knowledge, management and conservation of these plants. With just over 20 genera and 108 species, Guanajuato is considered a center of cactaceous diversity, in addition to having three microendemic species, important for their protection. The knowledge of the species of this family of plants and the growing interest in their research will allow the design of strategies for the study, management and conservation of the cactological flora of the State.en
