dc.description.abstractLa desigualdad de género aún persiste en varios y diversos ámbitos, entre ellos la educación superior y los mercados de trabajo, no solo en México sino en diversos países. Si bien se han logrado avances significativos en los últimos años, aún existen brechas importantes entre hombres y mujeres. Por ello el objetivo de este documento es analizar de manera general y descriptiva la desigualdad que persiste en la educación superior en cuanto a los campos de estudio, de ahí que sigan programas considerados feminizados o masculinizados. Así mismo hay indicios de una relación de esta desigualdad en el empleo visto por sectores económicos, donde hay sectores donde el mayor porcentaje del empleo son mujeres y viceversa, donde algunas actividades económicas guardan relación con los roles de género.es_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishGender inequality still persists in various areas, including higher education and the labor market, not only in Mexico but in different countries as well. While significant progress has been made in recent years, there are still significant gaps between men and women. Therefore, the objective of this document is to analyze in a general and descriptive manner the inequality that persists in higher education regarding fields of study, hence the existence of programs considered feminized or masculinized. Likewise, there are indications of a relationship between this inequality and employment seen by economic sectors, where there are sectors where the majority of employment consists of women and vice versa, and where some economic activities are related to gender roles.en
